Lower Broadway, Nashville Tennessee

Lower Broadway is an entertainment district in Nashville , Tennessee. The district runs on Broadway between and near Fourth and Fifth avenues. It has attractions from the Bridgestone Arena, the Nashville Convention Center to various honky tonk bars, including Robert's Western World and Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. The Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum are both located within one block of this area. As the Grand Ole Opry originally took its place at the Historic Ryman Auditorium, the nearby Honky Tonk clubs of Lower Broadway became a creative breeding ground for hopeful performers, musicians and songwriters longing to make it in this Music City. Live music venue and musician community, the clubs provided encouragement, a stage, and a tip jar for struggling motivated artists. Honky Tonk Music has strong roots on Nashville's lower boardway and remains a major influence on today's country artists with its wild tales, country love stories, and sorrows to be drowned in the drinking and dancing culture on Lower Broadway. Today, the Honky Tonks of Lower Broadway have become a must-see destination when in Nashville, and is maintaining a down-to-earth musician hangout attitude while welcoming visitors from around the world.
