This is a picture from the first Grand Ole Opry that opened in 1925-1974. It moved to its current location in 1974. In the first Opry was where Johnny Cash, Elvis, and many other famous country singers sang. It known for its echo and sound. The new location is located next to the Opry Mall and sits a few thousand more people compared to the old venue but doesn't compare to the sound volume at the Ole Opry.
Johnny Cash is one of the most powerful singers of the 20th century. He had a huge fan base from children, to young adults, and seniors. He has 96 albums, 63 Compilation albums, 153 singles, 19 music videos, and 13 #1 singles throughout his career. This is a picture of all of his records and albums shown in a show case room in his museum. His legacy as a person and performer has continued to this day.
This microphone is one of the objects from the original Sun Studios. Sam Phillips is the co founder of the studio. He started this studio when he was nearly broke so he would let anyone record in his studio that wanted to. This microphone has been used by numerous singers throughout the years such as Elvis and other famous musicians that have recorded in Sun Studios.
This is Elvis' House "Graceland." This is where Elvis lived for most of his career. He made this house his own and very unique. He has a room decorated as a forest, a neon yellow basement with 3 televisions going on at once, and many more. Covered on his many acres of land is a horse ranch, a grave yard where his family is buried, a pool and more. Graceland is now open for tourism now but no one is allowed to go upstairs in his home because that was considered his private part of the home. Overall, his house is gorgeous, tacky and shows how he lived when he was and still the king of Rock and Roll.
